How long does it take to repair or replace a windshield?
Repairs take approximately 15min each time may fluctuate depending on severity of the chip/star. Windshield & basic back glass replacements take an average of 90min, however we do book a full 2hr block to ensure our technicians have the time to execute your replacement with the utmost care. They will never rush your install or cut corners to save time. Door glass replacements, moveable back glass and vehicles requiring recalibration will have varied completion times depending on the vehicle. We do save time by using a high quality, 30min set urethane, which means you can be back on the road within 30min post installation in most cases.
Can a mobile technician fix my windshield at my location?
Our services are 100% percent mobile. As long as your location falls within our service area all repairs, replacements & recalibrations can be scheduled for a location convenient for you.
Is mobile windshield repair or replacement as effective as going to a shop?
Mobile repairs or replacements offer the exact same quality as in shop, but with greater convenience for the client. Our technicians come prepared with everything they will need to handle your replacement.
Will my insurance cover mobile windshield repair or replacement?
Clients insured in the state of Arizona, may have full glass coverage added to their policy, which would then offer a $0 deductible for windshield repairs and replacement. Without the specific “full glass” coverage, a claim would fall under comprehensive coverage and be subject to the policy comprehensive deductible. Glass coverage must already be in place prior to the date of damages in order to be covered by insurance. Glass coverage would be listed within the “comprehensive coverage” section of your policy documents.
How much does mobile windshield repair or replacement cost?
Our technicians have completed hundreds of successful chip repairs and typically your insurance glass coverage would cover this service as well. In the event of no coverage, or if you prefer, we do offer this convenient mobile service for $100. However, there is always a small risk that the damage can spread during the repair. In the event the chip repair is unsuccessful we are happy to apply a $100 credit toward an out-of-pocket replacement with 11 Bravo or upon the completion of an insurance glass coverage replacement with 11 Bravo we will refund your $100.
Can a windshield crack be repaired, or does it need to be replaced?
Chips, Stars and Cracks smaller than a half dollar are usually good candidates for repair. However, our main goal with repair is to stop the spread and prolong the life of the current glass, the repair does not take away the visibility of the damage. If damages are larger than a half dollar, if the damage penetrated all the way through the layers of glass, if they are within the Driver’s direct line of sight or if they are distracting to the driver in any way, we do recommend replacement. *Windshield tint or ceramic film may affect the ability to repair, and special care must be taken, please inform the office during scheduling if your windshield has film.

What materials are used for mobile windshield repair or replacement?
Your windshield is a structural component of your vehicle. It provides strength to the A-pillars, and helps keep the roof from caving in during a roll-over accident. With that in mind, our technicians only use the highest quality materials available for auto glass replacements. We prep by removing old materials and cleaning the area as much as possible. We prime every job to ensure your vehicle remains free of rust and to promote the strongest possible bond. Many newer vehicles with updated technology require special adhesive. We use a universal, high modulus, fast cure, urethane safe for all vehicle types and ready to drive within 30min of completion. Finally, the glass itself is not all created equal. When choosing glass, we use only the best brands and highest quality available. We will fight for the use of OEM when necessary or requested. Our windshield chip repairs are completed with a resin material that best matches the shade of your glass and is cured with a UV light.
How long should I wait to drive my vehicle after mobile windshield repair or replacement?
Resin windshield repairs are cured with a UV light and safe to drive immediately after. The same goes for most moveable glass, such as door windows and some bolt in back windows. However, for any glass that is “glued in” such as quarter glass, some back glass & windshield replacements there can be a range, as different adhesives are typically required for different vehicles. 11 Bravo chooses to use a higher quality, universal, high modulus, fast cure urethane on every vehicle. This urethane has a “safe drive time” of 30min post installation.
How long does it take to replace a windshield?
The time frame can vary for replacements depending on the number of garnishes, moldings and technical safety features. 11 Bravo schedules 2hr blocks for all windshield installations. This allows our technicians to take the time necessary to handle each replacement with the utmost care and attention.
Do you offer mobile services?
Absolutely, 11 Bravo specializes in mobile installations and currently services the entire North Valley, Central Valley & West Valley. We are happy to come to your home, or work location, for installation and also offer mobile ADAS recalibration and chip repairs for added convenience.
How quickly can I get scheduled?
Scheduling depends on many factors. Glass availability, insurance approvals and inclement weather can all play a part. However, 11 Bravo strives to schedule clients as quickly as possible and typically has available appointments within a few days of your initial inquiry.
Do you offer mobile windshield chip repair?
Yes. 11 Bravo does offer mobile resin chip repair. Generally, damage smaller than a half dollar is a good candidate for repair. Any damage larger than a half dollar is assessed on an individual basis. To minimize damages prior to repair please avoid anything that changes cabin pressure, fluctuates glass temperature quickly or jars the vehicle. This includes car washes, detailing, using top dash/defroster vents for AC or heat, parking in direct summer sun or driving on bumpy roads or through pot holes. If the damage is too extensive, such as very long cracks, multiple or intersecting cracks, damage near the edges of the windshield or in the Driver’s line of sight, they may not be repairable, and a full windshield replacement may be necessary for safety reasons.
How much does mobile windshield chip repair cost?
Mobile chip repair service begins at $100. This includes mobile service & up to 2 chip repairs on an average sized vehicle. Each additional chip is $20. While our technicians are extremely skilled and have a high success rate, there is always a small risk that chip repair attempts can cause further damage. In the event of an unsuccessful repair, we will apply collected chip repair fees toward any out-of-pocket windshield replacement with 11 Bravo, or refund the fees upon completion of an insurance glass replacement with 11 Bravo.
Do you work with insurance?
Yes, 11 Bravo is in network for the majority of insurance carriers and our friendly staff are happy to assist our clients with claim calls. In the event that we are not contracted with a specific carrier we are usually able to agree to a carrier’s rates and warranties during the claim call.
Do you offer cash back or incentives with windshield replacements?
No, we do not. 11 Bravo was founded on the principles of honesty and integrity. Most incentives are built into the profit margin by cutting corners, rushing installs, fraudulent billing practices and suing your insurance for an exorbitant amount on the back end. 11 Bravo chooses to focus on quality installation, excellent customer service and overall client satisfaction.
Are there any restrictions on where a windshield can be repaired or replaced?
11 Bravo is a mobile auto glass company that can come to just about any location to perform the installation. The only limitations are related to safety and weather. The location of the install must be well lit and free from moving traffic. Lastly, in the event of inclement weather or rain the vehicle must be enclosed in a garage with the ability to open both front doors and walk around the nose of the vehicle. In some cases, the ability to recalibrate sensors may also be affected by lighting or weather.
Do you install OEM factory glass?
Yes, 11 Bravo has relationships with all local dealerships and is able to source and install OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) glass. We go above and beyond to find your desired glass and when applicable get it covered by your insurance. In the event aftermarket glass is requested, or necessary due to backordered or discontinued glass, 11 Bravo only uses top quality OEE (Original Equipment Equivalent) glass made by the same manufacturers as OEM. This is always a conversation we have with our clients prior to any installation.
Can you recalibrate my windshield sensors?
Yes, absolutely. 11 Bravo is 100% mobile, including Dynamic, Static and Dual ADAS recalibration. We can schedule recalibration directly following your installation and if using insurance glass coverage there is typically no added cost to the client.
Do you replace tint?
Yes. 11 Bravo partners with some of the Top Rated Auto Tinters in the valley. We are able to have ceramic film and/or visor strips added prior to installation. Depending on your insurance carrier we can even get some tint film approved by insurance.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. At 11 Bravo we use only high quality auto glass from OEM or OEE manufacturers recognized by the insurance industry. Our professional installation is completed by certified technicians and meets the highest safety standards. 11 Bravo warrants against any defects in glass or workmanship. If our original work requires adjustment or repair, we are happy to repair it at no cost to you for as long as you own or lease the vehicle we serviced. If you experience any issues with the auto glass itself or the installation, please contact 11 Bravo immediately. Warranty Limitations: Auto glass damage resulting from vehicle collision, auto theft, vandalism, owner negligence, natural disaster or road debris is specifically excluded from our auto glass repair and replacement warranty.
How much does out of pocket glass replacement cost?
The cost of auto glass replacement can vary significantly depending on various factors, including the make and model of your vehicle, the type of glass used, the labor costs, and whether you have insurance coverage that can help offset the cost. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff would be happy to work up free estimate.
